Merrybell Motel

I stayed here for a night and the motel was as advertised. The room was very clean, and the property was cute. If you stay here, check out the back garden. If you’re in the area and need a room, this is a great choice, and the price can’t be beat. 100% I would recommend this to friends and family and will be staying here again.

We stayed here a few years ago, and I still recommend it to anyone heading to the area for vacation. The owners were very nice, and helpful with information about the area. We really enjoyed our stay in this motel. It was the perfect mix between updated comfort and retro nostalgia.

Stayed there for a weekend in the quaint little cottage. It was perfect and the thoughtfulness of the owners was apparent everywhere. Pretty, peaceful, private, clean and adequate. Even though the cottage is near the motel rooms, it has a private entrance away from the rooms and hence privacy wasn’t compromised. We checked in late but still the owner showed us to the cottage and explained how everything worked and made us immediately feel at home. It was a magical stay and an unforgettable experience.

We drove from Michigan for a wedding and booked here for a week this motel is an amazing stay … the property is quit and beautiful… the owners are very sweet ! And are always there to help ! We loved that they gave us privacy and suggestions for things to do and that was also budget friendly !! We will be back !! Already planning for next summer thank you !! So much… this little motel is a hidden gem !!

Amazing little motel. Super comfortable beds, nice little rooms. A couple of gas stations nearby and some places to eat about 15-20 minutes drive. The husband and wife who run the motel are extremely friendly, helpful and interesting. Both are artists (filmmaker and photographer). I spent a good 25 minutes speaking to the wife about the documentary she is working on called "No One Told Me". Very interesting. I definitely recommend this motel.

Merrybell Motel is cute. The owners are very nice people, the lady was friendly she gave me and my boyfriend the list of her favorite places around. The list has things to do in the North and South. That was nice. The room was clean. The motel is pet friendly, we brought our dog with us and we did not have any issues. Great place!

I booked on AirBnB but it won’t let me post my review! I so enjoyed staying at the Merrybell Motel! I appreciated Zulilah providing us with a detailed list of all of the businesses we would ever need right around us, as we were wondering that very same thing ourselves. Super helpful. The room was incredibly clean and very cozy. The place was also incredibly quiet, peaceful, and private, which was very nice. I appreciated how they welcomed our dog as well. If we ever come to Acadia again we will most definitely stay here—I’d recommend it to anyone.

Will go back! We just wanted a clean and affordable place to sleep while we spent days adventuring along the coast. It was perfect! Clean, simple, centrally located. No frills but all the charm. Plus, our hosts lent me a GREAT novel that I will return when I’m finished. Bring earplugs in case your neighbor snores!
